Even though the weather is still hot outside we have had a fantastic time celebrating fall here in the Preschool.
The teachers have created a ton of wonderful hands on activities and projects for the children. One day, our little preschool “farmers” got to husk corn and plant a fall garden. They also made homemade butter and had a visit from The Cricket’s Petting Zoo. On another day, the children enjoyed picking pinecones and making leaf sun catchers.
Bird Week in the Preschool
During Bird week, they made beautiful peacocks, American Eagles and brightly colored parrots. The PreK4-8th graders celebrated International Day and they included our three year old preschoolers in the celebration. They had a visit from the Pre-k classes on International Day and learned all about China through interesting facts and songs.
Preschool Enrichment Programs
Did you know that the Preschool offers enrichment programs and activities at competitive rates, so that your child can take part in classes like Music and Me Class, Tumble time, Playball and Happy Feet while at school.
In October, we are looking forward to the following fun activities!
- The Fall Festival
- Community Outdoor Classroom Work Day
- Preschool—2nd grade Community Helper Day
- Annual Halloween Parade and Parties
