Candy Cane Lane day was so much fun!
The PreK4 and PreK5 students watched a video about how candy canes are made, did an experiment with candy canes which included predictions about what would happen, and measured the length of the sweet treats.
The teachers read a book called Katie the Candy Cane Fairy and everyone made a craft of a penguin holding a candy cane. In counseling class, the children made snowflakes and learned that they are as unique as each person in our world!
Sing-a-long and party fun….
The weather was gloomy but we made everything merry and bright!
