Our Name is Changing! Welcome to McGinnis Woods School

Dear McGinnis Woods Community,

We are excited to share some news with you! Since our school opened in 1999, we have always embraced a culture of continuous improvement and growth. We are constantly pursuing opportunities to enhance our program and our school.

With the 25th anniversary of McGinnis Woods less than a year away, we thought this a perfect time for some rebranding.

Here are the exciting changes we’re making:

McGinnis Woods Country Day School will now be called McGinnis Woods School. We believe that this subtle change to our name better aligns with a contemporary private school marketplace.

We have updated our logo with a fresh, modern design that pays tribute to our original logo while reflecting the evolution in our branding and our continued focus on academics. The new logo is displayed at the top of this message.

We will be slowly updating all of our collateral including our website, app, and monogram to reflect our updated name and logo.

School uniforms ordered from any of our partners will be embroidered with the new logo beginning March 1st. However, you are not required to replace any of your existing uniforms at this time. Students will be permitted to wear uniforms embroidered with the current logo through the end of 2025.

While some of our branding is changing, our values remain the same. We are committed to hands-on learning with an emphasis on problem-solving and STEM as we strive to inspire students with the passion to excel each day! Thank you for being a part of our wonderful school community.
