Summer Camp 2025 Recap: A Season of Fun, Friendship & Discovery

What an incredible summer we had at McGinnis Woods! Our 2025 Summer Camp was filled with laughter, learning, and unforgettable memories. From exciting field trips to creative projects and end-of-summer celebrations, our campers truly made the most of every moment.

Field Trips & Adventures

Campers had a blast exploring new places and trying fun activities together. Some of the highlights included:

Roller Skating Trip – Campers laced up and hit the rink, making memories with friends.
Launch Trampoline Park – Bouncing, flipping, and jumping into foam pits was a camper favorite.
Stars and Strikes – Bowling, arcade games, and prizes brought out plenty of smiles.
Game Truck & Art Barn – These unique experiences kept the fun going right here at camp.

Science, STEM & Creativity

Learning didn’t stop just because it was summer! Campers enjoyed hands-on activities that sparked their curiosity and imagination, such as:

Science Wiz Experiments – Exploring force, motion, and static electricity through exciting demonstrations.
Canvas Painting with Ms. Tanya – Bringing artistic ideas to life on canvas with beautiful results.
Ceramics & Crafts – Campers got creative with colorful ceramics, STEM projects, and more.
Specialty Camps – From terrariums to cool prints, our STEM and art specialty camps encouraged campers to dive deeper into their passions.

Celebrations & Special Events

Summer wouldn’t be complete without a few festive moments:

4th of July Bike Parade – Campers decorated bikes, scooters, and wagons for a patriotic ride filled with holiday spirit.
Preschool Water Day – Our NAEYC-accredited preschool capped off camp with a fun-filled splash party for children, staff, and families.

Closing Talent Show

To wrap up an amazing summer, campers took the stage for the Summer Talent Show, where they wowed the audience with songs, dances, skits, and more. The showcase of talent and confidence was the perfect finale to an unforgettable camp season.
