The McGinnis Woods Parent Association is pleased to present the 9th Annual Wildcat Fund, an opportunity for parents, family, friends and alumni to directly support student experiences and opportunities at McGinnis Woods School.
Each year, the Wildcat Fund supports specific goals in areas including Arts & Academics, Technology & Innovation, and Athletics & Wellness. Past Wildcat Fund contributions have helped provide a rock-climbing wall, remodeled Innovation Lab, sports seating, a greenhouse, robots, outdoor awnings and more.

For the 2026–2027 school year, the Wildcat Fund has a $60,000 fundraising goal, with 100% of every dollar raised used to enhance McGinnis Woods.

What the 2026–2027 Wildcat Fund Will Support
This year’s Wildcat Fund includes four goals supporting students and the McGinnis Woods campus.
Additional Campus Security Cameras
Additional high-performance security cameras will be added to the school’s current network to enhance technology and school coverage.
Two Bambu Lab P1S 3D Printers
The Wildcat Fund will support the purchase of two Bambu Lab P1S 3D printers for STEM and Art exploration.
New Preschool Picnic Tables
The current preschool picnic tables will be replaced with new tables.
Middle School Practice Field
This multi-year project will work toward providing an on-campus practice field for middle school sports.
Wildcat Fund Giving Levels
Families, friends and alumni can contribute at several giving levels, each with its own donor recognition opportunities.
Friends of McGinnis Woods — $100–$199
- Your name will be featured in the Friends of McGinnis Woods section of the McGinnis Woods Buzz.
- Your name will be engraved under the Friends of McGinnis Woods section of a donor plaque permanently installed in the main hallway of the elementary school.
- You will receive a personalized keepsake designed for Friends of McGinnis Woods.
Green and White Circle — $200–$499
- Your name will be featured in the Green and White Circle section of the McGinnis Woods Buzz.
- Your name will be engraved under the Green and White Circle section of a donor plaque permanently installed in the main hallway of the elementary school.
- You will receive a personalized keepsake for the Green and White Circle.
Wildcat Pride Circle — $500–$999
- Your name will be featured in the Wildcat Pride Circle section of the McGinnis Woods Buzz.
- Your name will be engraved under the Wildcat Pride Circle section of a donor plaque permanently installed in the main hallway of the elementary school.
- You will receive a handmade tile designed by your child and displayed just for your Wildcat.
Wildcat Society — $1,000+
- Your name will be featured in the Wildcat Society section of the McGinnis Woods Buzz for the entire school year.
- Your name will be engraved under the Wildcat Society section of a donor plaque permanently installed in the main hallway of the elementary school.
- You will receive a brick featuring your name permanently installed at the school entrance.
- You will receive an invitation to the Wildcat Reception, a hosted dinner to thank you for your support.
Special Giving Opportunities
The 9th Annual Wildcat Fund also includes several special giving opportunities. Each includes the benefits of a Wildcat Society member.
Donor Nameplate on a School Bench — $1,500
This opportunity is available to the first three donors who give $1,500 to the Wildcat Fund.
Dedicated Parking Spot for the 2027–2028 School Year — $2,500
This opportunity is available to the first donor who gives $2,500 to the Wildcat Fund. The donor will receive a dedicated parking space with a personalized sign.
Exclusive Golden Brick — $5,000
This opportunity is available to the first donor who gives $5,000 to the Wildcat Fund. The donor will receive a golden-colored brick engraved with content of their choosing.
How to Contribute to the Wildcat Fund
There are several ways to make a gift to the 9th Annual Wildcat Fund:
- Cash or check: Complete the Wildcat Fund form and return it with your donation. Checks should be made payable to the McGinnis Woods Parent Association.
- Credit card: Complete the Wildcat Fund form or make your donation online through the Wildcat Fund page.
- Pledge: Email pa@mcginniswoods.org with your pledged amount.
The first 25 donors will be entered into a raffle for one free week of summer camp at The Woods!
With support from the McGinnis Woods community, the Parent Association hopes to fulfill each of this year’s Wildcat Fund goals and make a real difference for students.
