An instructor from High Touch High Tech taught our students all about Geology. The students had a fantastic time learning about rocks and how they are formed. They also tested the rocks for hardness and learned about the effects of erosion on rocks.

School Spelling Bee winners competed in the GISA Middle School Spelling Bee
On February 7th, 2019 our school Spelling Bee winners competed in the GISA Middle School Spelling Bee at our very own school. This was the second year McGinnis Woods hosted Round 1 of the GISA Spelling Bee.
