Pre-Kindergarten children are making developmental strides and expressing an interest in the world around them. They want to touch, smell, hear, and test things for themselves. They are eager to learn. They learn by experiencing and by doing.
McGinnis Woods offers a range of Pre-K programs (3 Toddlers, 3, and 3/4) and advances each child as they are developmentally ready for the next step in their education.
Pre-K children regularly visit the campus library in the Elementary building.
They enjoy story time, as well as learn very basic library skills. Our librarian teaches children about the care of books and the love of reading.
Pre-K children adore these “trips” and look forward to each visit.
